A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University in Wrocław, in 2018, he received the title of general surgery specialist. During his training, he completed an internship in vascular surgery at the University Hospital in Dresden and a six-month internship at St. Michael’s Hospital in Dun Laghoire, Ireland.
The main fields of his medical interests are the surgical treatment of obesity, laparoscopic surgery of the upper gastrointestinal tract, phlebology, and minimally invasive techniques in proctology.

She graduated from medical school in 2002. In 2009, she defended her doctorate in medical sciences. Since the beginning of her professional career, she has been affiliated with Wroclaw’s leading center for internal medicine. An assistant professor at the Medical University in Wrocław and member of the Polish and European Society of Endocrinology.
Her professional interests include metabolic disorders associated with obesity, as well as refractory hypertension, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, ovarian, and testicular disorders. She actively participates in research and symposiums on endocrinology and treatment of obesity and diabetes.
On a daily basis, she does endocrinology consultation for one of the largest hospitals in Lower Silesia. In 2019, she joined the surgical team for the treatment of obesity at the EuroMediCare hospital in Wrocław and provides endocrine care for patients undergoing bariatric treatment.
I am a psychology graduate at the University of Wrocław. I completed postgraduate studies within the field of psychodietetics at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Currently I am being trained within the field of cognitive-behavioral therapy.
I gained my experience at the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wrocław, at the Mental Health Consultation Outpatient Clinic at the Lower Silesia Mental Health Centre in Wrocław. I have established a long-term cooperation with the Psychodietetics Institute in Wrocław and a Specialist Psychological and Sexological Clinic.

She’s an author of numerous publications on food analysis and human nutrition, published in both national and foreign journals, as well as a co-author of guides for patients and parents: “Prawidłowe żywienie dzieci” (“Appropriate nutrition of children”); “Alergie i nietolerancje pokarmowe” (“Food allergies and intolerances”); “Żywienie w chorobach onkologicznych” (“Nutrition in oncological disorders”); “Zaburzenia odżywiania” (“Eating disorders”) and “Poradnik dla pacjentów z nieswoistymi chorobami zapalnymi jelit” (“Guide for patients with inflammatory bowel disease”). She also conducts classes on human nutrition and food analysis with the students at the Department of Pharmacology at Wrocław Medical University and students of the Dietetics faculty. She’s a deputy chairman of the Wrocław branch of Polish Society of Dietetics. She puts her scientific knowledge into practice during individual work with a bariatric patient, considering comorbidities and applied pharmacological treatment in nutritional recommendations during preparations for surgery, as well as for aftercare.
Since 2005, as part of her scientific work, she handles patients suffering from inflammable bowel syndrome and irritable bowel syndrome. She also takes care of pregnant and breastfeeding women, cancer patients, as well as people with diet-dependent diseases. She’s a promoter of balanced nutrition, which she implements in her work with patients willing to lose weight.
A graduate of Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz Nicolaus Copernicus University and SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. A specialist of dietotherapy and nutritional therapy, a psychodietician and a coach. She also specializes in work with bariatric patients, when—apart from diet consultations—she also leads a support group called “CHLOrki odWagi”. Other issues that she deals with include dietotherapy and nutritional therapy in oncology, neurology and gastroenterology. She also supports patients subject to home enteral tube feeding. She actively participates in conferences and scientific symposiums regarding dietetics and nutritional therapy. In February 2019, she joined the surgical obesity treatment team at the EuroMediCare Hospital in Wrocław.
My name is Bernadeta Fryśna. I am an internal diseases specialist and a gastroenterologist who has been working at EuroMediCare, ul. Pilczycka 144, Wrocław since April 1, 2014. For twelve years I have worked at the Gastroenterology Clinic at the 4th Military Clinical Hospital, where I gained extensive experience and skills in performing imaging examinations—abdominal ultrasound, as well as endoscopic examinations: panendoscopy (gastroscopy), colonoscopy (sigmoidoscopy) and rectoscopy.
I have large experience in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal tract disorders. I employ a holistic approach towards a patient, supplementing medical knowledge with gained expertise. I deal with diagnosing of abdominal pains, nutritional counselling, as well as treatment of diseases of upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. I coordinate diagnosing activities prior to bariatric procedures.
A resident doctor in his last year of specialization training in general surgery at the Sub-department of Metabolic and Endocrine Surgery of the Department of General and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Wrocław, and a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan. His interests since the beginning of his studies have focused on minimally invasive and metabolic surgery.

A graduate of the Institute of Psychology at the University of Wrocław and a Motivational Therapist currently earning her certification, her main areas of professional interest are motivating people to change and building lasting healthy habits – both in individual and group settings. As part of her continuous development, she actively participates in courses to improve her skills in the field of motivational dialogue, psychodietetics, and diet coaching. She constantly applies knowledge to her own life, which brings her a lot of joy and satisfaction.
